Partners not Customers
First of all, we're looking to further develop the tool together with our users. So we don't need "customers" in the traditional sense, but partners who are willing to talk to us about their needs. Sure, we won't do it for free, but making bank isn't our immediate priority. Hence — you can expect VERY competitive prices.
Scale Matters
Secondly, we know that monitoring can easily get quite big. For example: top 5 EU countries × 14 shops × 10 categories × 500 products. That is definitely going to be priced differently than, say, 1 country, 5 shops, and 15 products. That's why — let's talk.
Niche Service, Custom Plans
Lastly, we know we're still offering a niche service. Our plans are big, but they depend on how many partners we have and on their specific needs. So again — let's get talking.
Doing the Math
But to not leave you hanging after reading this post, let's do a bit of math together to give you a ballpark:
1. Share of Voice Monitoring
Depending on the shop and how well they defend against data scraping, that's about an hour per category. Setting the frequency higher/lower doesn't really impact the amount of work, only occupies the Robot's time.
2. Content Analysis
That's a bit more sophisticated compared to SoV, as each etailer is vastly different and has different capabilities. Also, the more shops you'd like to analyze, the more complex the comparison analysis becomes.
3. Price Monitoring
This is heavy on Robot time, as it requires us to check every product available. Once we've got the list, we need a backend that will group the same devices on different stores.
It feels tempting to charge a big setup fee and then a monthly cost. We don't do that. The monthly payment is flat, and there's a trial phase, so you know exactly what you're getting.
In the end, the ballpark for the above would be anywhere between
€500 - €1,000 a month.
